As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will work on complex, production-oriented IT environments and ensure that modern software is not only developed, but also deployed and operated in an automated, secure, reliable, and scalable way.

Your role goes beyond individual pipelines or tools. You will actively shape our engineering and delivery processes, further develop technical standards, and work closely with developers and architects to create sustainable solutions.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you take end-to-end responsibility for modern development, deployment, and operations processes, shaping the technical foundation that enables our development teams to deliver software reliably.

• You design, automate, and optimize CI/CD processes for build, testing, deployment, and operations.
• You further develop cloud and container platforms and ensure their stable, secure, and scalable operation.
• You automate infrastructure and configuration based on Infrastructure as Code and GitOps principles.
• You enhance monitoring, logging, and observability solutions and continuously improve the stability, performance, and transparency of our systems.
• You integrate security and compliance into development and delivery processes from an early stage and establish appropriate standards and automation.
• You perform in-depth analysis of technical issues and incidents and use the findings to drive improvements across platforms, processes, and architectures.
• You work closely with developers and architects, remove technical bottlenecks, and continuously improve the developer experience.
• As a senior team member, you contribute your experience across projects, challenge existing solutions, and actively shape our DevOps standards and best practices.

For us, it’s not about how many DevOps tools you can list on your résumé. What matters is that you embrace automation, understand software engineering, and want to take responsibility for stable and efficient delivery processes.

• You have several years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering and are familiar with production-oriented IT environments.
• You have strong experience with CI/CD and the automation of build, testing, deployment, and operations processes.
• You are confident working in modern cloud and container environments and have hands-on experience with technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
• Infrastructure as Code and Configuration Management are part of your engineering toolkit, using technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, or comparable solutions.
• You are familiar with monitoring, logging, and observability concepts and have experience with solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, or comparable toolchains.
• You understand modern software architectures, Linux-based systems, as well as fundamental networking and security concepts, and can systematically analyze issues across multiple technical layers.
• You enjoy working closely with development teams, can confidently advocate for technical decisions, and actively share your knowledge with other engineers.
• You work independently and want to do more than simply operate DevOps environments – you want to actively shape and continuously improve them. Excellent German and English language skills complete your profile.
