Tasks
- Overall responsibility for setting up, operating, and scaling an international global delivery
center, including organizational design, workforce planning, and sustainable growth - End-to-end responsibility for delivery, quality, costs, and performance across all relevant
service domains (software development, testing & QA, enterprise platforms, data services) - Definition, implementation, and control of clear governance, SLA, and KPI structures, as well as
ensuring stable, scalable, and predictable delivery processes in the global delivery model - Strategic development of the Global Delivery Center as a central component of the global
delivery and sourcing strategy - Management, development, and scaling of an international management and expert team
as well as establishment of a high-performance leadership and performance culture - Overall responsibility for budget, cost structure, productivity, and business planning as well as
ensuring the achievement of economic targets - Management of performance, quality, and risk management at the delivery center and service level
- Support of presales, transition, and transformation initiatives, as well as active representation of the global delivery organization to internal and external stakeholders
- Driving innovation, automation, and technological transformation for the continuous
development of delivery excellence
Profile
- At least 10 years of professional experience in IT delivery, software, testing & QA, or managed services, including several years in senior management, line management, or overall responsibility
- Proven experience in setting up, operating, or scaling international nearshore and offshore delivery organizations, as well as in leading larger, multidisciplinary delivery units
- Broad technical understanding across multiple service domains, in particular software development, testing & quality assurance, cloud and platform services, SAP, Salesforce, and business intelligence, data & analytics
- In-depth experience in the operation and management of managed services, including SLA/KPI management, service reviews, continual service improvement, and responsibility for budget, margins, forecasting, and resource planning
- Experience in managing complex multi-team setups with onsite, nearshore, and offshore components, as well as strong stakeholder management at the management and purchasing levels
- Strong international project experience, ideally with European and German-speaking customers, combined with entrepreneurial thinking and strong leadership and communication skills
- Very good written and spoken English; German skills are an advantage
- Willingness to travel internationally within the scope of the role and project requirements
